Handmade Leather Knot Bookmarks

For some time now I have been eyeing the knot bookmarks that I have seen floating around on some IG posts (specifically for the Midori Traveler's Notebook).  Unfortunately, I haven't been able to locate any to purchase online so I decided to have a go at making my own.  I think it turned out ok ;)  What do you think? If you follow me on instagram @mylifemits, you would have already seen this post :)

I have had many requests for a DIY Tutorial and I will be posting it on youtube shortly (I promise)... 

I have use one with a lighter leather cord and another with a darker one.  I'm assuming the darker one has some kind of treatment or oil on it as it doesn't fray as much as the natural leather cord does.  It is however, slightly firmer, making a bit more difficult to work with.  

I'm liking them so far :)  I might consider selling some of them.  Do you use a bookmark ? Do you use the bookmark that the Midori Traveler's Notebook comes with?

Hobonichi Techo Doodle January 26

Hello~! As I am trying my best to get this blog up and running, here is a video I did while I was doodling in my Hobonichi Techo yesterday.  

Items that I used:
- Uniball Signo 0.28 tip in Black (clicker style)
- Washi tape samples
- Masking Sticker Sheets
- Sticker Flakes
- Faber Castell Art Grip Aquarelle Pencils
- Water brush
